Lilya Karchikyan is an Armenian artist who specializes in oil paintings. She is also the mother of the famed painter Svetlana Karchikyan. She worked closely with the Unicorn Children’s Foundation, a charity organization that has ties to Valeria and Mark Rosenbloom as well as former president Donald Trump, a major donor to the charity. Lilya has had prior experience doing portraits of many other people. About a decade before Trump’s political campaign, Lilya created a portrait of Mr. Trump as a token of appreciation for his continued support of the organization. The portrait was graciously accepted by Trump with much satisfaction.
